What it is like
Playa de Bouzas, also called Castelete, is a narrow semi-urban beach of golden sand measuring 120 metres in length and barely 3 metres in width. Its urban coastal frontage and surrounding setting explain why it is relatively unsuitable for high tourist numbers, although its waters are calm. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the Vilagarcía–Vilaxoán road. The interurban route between Vilagarcía, Vilanova and Cambados offers an alternative transport option.
