What it is like
As Maseiras is an isolated, little-visited beach with difficult access, retaining a very small scale: 40 metres in length and 10 metres in width. The golden sand opens onto a mountainous frontage with vegetation, within the Natura 2000 Network. Usual waves are strong and occupancy low. The indicated access is difficult on foot from the AC-431, between Ponteceso and Laxe; there is an intercity bus route 1 kilometre away.
