What it is like
Playa de Arenas Blancas is a small isolated site in Frontera, made up of sand and rock and located below a cliff. Its dimensions are limited: 50 metres long and 10 metres wide. The surroundings combine vegetation with extensive environmental protection under the designations Site of Community Importance (SCI), ZEC, ZEPA, Parque Rural and Reserva de la Biosfera. Access is signposted and can be made on foot or by car via the road to Verodal. The entry records no beach services, so a self-sufficient visit should be anticipated.
