What it is like
Playa de Alcabre is a 600-metre urban stretch of white sand south of Vigo city centre, divided into the beaches of Carril or Fontoura and Santa Baia or Borralleiro. Its urban frontage is accompanied by a promenade and a 35-metre-wide strip, with moderate or strong waves depending on the section. The beach offers easy access on foot or by car, adapted for people with reduced mobility, and parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles, as well as toilets and showers.
