Embalse Orellana is an inland bathing area located in Orellana la Vieja, in the province of Badajoz, Extremadura. Also known as the Costa Dulce de Orellana, the municipal area includes a beach, a sandy area associated with windsurfing, grassy areas, picnic areas and facilities for water sports. The site also has access routes, restaurants and beach bars, together with a marina. The reservoir lies within a natural setting with protected designations including the Natura 2000 Network, the ZEPA, the ZIR and the Ramsar wetland.
