Embalse Cuerda del Pozo identifies an official bathing area in the municipality of Cidones, in the province of Soria. The reservoir impounds the waters of the Duero River and forms part of the municipality of Cidones. The bathing area is registered as Embalse Cuerda del Pozo Cidones, with Herreros as the associated locality. The reservoir surroundings include pinewoods and also extend across other municipalities in the province. The Confederación Hidrográfica del Duero includes this site among the protected areas for recreational use and bathing.
